- Make the paper cast.
Put 5 Cotton linter squares in a blender with 2 cups of water.
Add a pinch of mixed Micalites.
Run blenderon high for 20 seconds
Pour pulp thru tea strainer.
Turn (plop) pulp from strainer right onto mold.
Pat pulp down into mold, let water drain off into cup.
Remove water with sponge, pushing pulp into mold.
Remove water with terry towel. still pushing into mold
- Dry paper cast one of three ways
- Peel cast off mold. Lay on kitchen counter to dry overnight
- Place cast still in mold in an oven at 275. Bake for 20 minutes.
- Microwave* on high for 60 seconds. Remove cast.
Microwavejust the cast on high for 15 seconds.
- Stamp and sticker the card.
Prefold the card so only the middle window panel is facing
you. Use the tapestry Bamboo Stamp to create scenery on
the front of the card. Let images run off the edges and over
the opening of the window.
Next, stamp "Enjoy the Moment" in a random pattern.
Place stickers at different angles in the stamped bamboo tapestry.
- Assemble the card.
Unfold the card. Secure the dragonfly paper cast in the
window with a glue stick.
Fold the right panel in. Glue the top, bottom and side edge
for a finished look.
Fold the back and left panel. Make a crisp crease along the
edge of the card.

* Arnold Grummer's Casting Molds are not guaranteed to be
100% microwave safe. While breakage is rare, small air
pockets in the clay can fill with moisture and cause cracks
while expanding due to extreme heat. Alower setting
(medium) is recommended for powerful, high wattage
microwave ovens.
